What Is YOUTH-MED®?
YOUTH-MED® is HHCP’s year-round healthcare career exploration and workforce development program, creating opportunities for students to discover the many possibilities within healthcare.
Through career exposure, direct access to healthcare professionals, clinical experiences, mentorship, and professional development, participants gain the knowledge and experiences needed to explore their interests and make informed decisions about their future.
There is more than one path into healthcare. YOUTH-MED® helps you discover yours.

YOUTH-MED® Shadows
YOUTH-MED® Shadows is our invitation-only clinical observation and professional networking program for scholars 16 and older.
Shadows is earned. Scholars qualify by completing a YOUTH-MED® pathway or by volunteering with HHCP, then complete the clinical clearance our host partners require.
The best way to get started is to join our monthly YOUTH-MED® Career Connect Access Sessions and get involved.
Eligible scholars receive a private enrollment invitation from our team.
